Founded in 1963, Bishop Guertin High School is a private, independent, Roman Catholic college-preparatory high school for young men and women of all faiths that
draws students from twenty-one towns in southern New Hampshire and seventeen towns in Massachusetts. Admission to the school is based on the results of
admission testing and competitive academics. Present enrollment is about 800 students in Grades 9-12. Bishop Guertin is accredited by the New England Association
of Secondary Schools and Colleges, and is approved by the New Hampshire Department of Education.

Students must be recommended in order to take Honors or any of our AP Courses; they are not self-selected. Students are
typically limited to (3) Advanced Placement courses. AP science courses meet for lecture and lab daily, limiting space in the
students¡¯ schedules. Students must take Physics Honors during junior year to be eligible for AP Physics.

COVID ¨C 19 Statement
Bishop Guertin High School maintained live instruction throughout the spring and fall of 2020. During the spring,
students participated virtually in their scheduled live classes. Classroom assessment and assignments continued and the
school¡¯s grading scale was maintained. This fall, Bishop Guertin implemented a flexible plan and has offered mostly inperson instruction, with hybrid and remote options available depending on local conditions. At all times, the academic
development and whole-person formation of our school program has been continued.
