FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS

KENNETH W. ABRAMS/PAUL W. KIMBROUGH ENDOWMENT

For full-time African-American students majoring in political science or business with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above. Consideration may be given to financial need.

ALG (ARKLA/CENTERPOINT) SCHOLARSHIP

For full-time students who are children of present or former Arkansas Louisiana Gas (Arkla/CenterPoint) employees. Selection based on academic record and financial need. Requires a high school GPA of 3.0 or college GPA of 2.5 or above.

D. RICHARD ARNOLD/CONWAY CORPORATION SCHOLARSHIP

For full-time students who graduated from a high school in the city of Conway (Arkansas) or, if home schooled, resided in the service area of Conway Corporation at the time of graduation and have an ACT of 21 or above and high school GPA of 2.75 or above. Consideration may be given to financial need. Children of Conway Corporation Board of Directors are ineligible for consideration.

DR. BOB AND JANIS PURTLE BANISTER SCHOLARSHIP

For full-time students majoring in music or science. Selection shall be based on financial need and academic performance.

CURTIS AND KAREN BARNETT ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

For first-generation students who have completed 30 hours or more by the end of their freshman year. Preference shall be given to students who have graduated from a high school in Pulaski County (Arkansas) and financial need.

CHARLES AND NADINE BAUM SCHOLARSHIP

For full-time entering freshmen, transfer, or non-traditional students who demonstrate financial need. Entering freshmen criteria: GPA of 2.75 or above and ACT score of 21-23 (24 or above if not receiving a UCA academic scholarship). Transfer student criteria: satisfactory completion of 30 hours or more from another institution and GPA of 3.0 or above. Non-traditional student (age 25 or above) criteria: satisfactory completion of 12 hours or more and GPA of 3.0 or above.

BAXLEY FAMILY FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

For UCA freshman students who will complete 30 hours by the end of their freshman year. Student shall demonstrate financial need and good character with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. Student must be a resident of Arkansas and have graduated from an Arkansas high school. Student must be ineligible for Federal Aid and rely upon student loans and/or family for financial assistance.

ELIZABETH BAILEY BENTON SCHOLARSHIP

For full-time students majoring in mathematics or natural sciences with a GPA of 3.0 or above. First preference given to active members (two year minimum) of Conway First Presbyterian Church.

BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF CENTRAL ARKANSAS SCHOLARSHIP

For full-time students who are, or have been, active participants in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arkansas program and who are in good academic standing. Consideration shall be given to financial need.

HERBY BRANSCUM, JR. SCHOLARSHIP

For full-time students from Arkansas with preference given to firstgeneration college students from Perry or Stone County. Selection based on a high school GPA of 2.5 or above, with preference given to entering freshmen and students receiving no other scholarships.

BURDICK/MCALISTER SCHOLARSHIP

For full-time students majoring in geography or business who are U. S. citizens and demonstrate financial need. Selection based on ACT of 24 or above and GPA of 2.75 or above.

TOM BURNETT LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP

For full-time students with a GPA of 2.75 or above. Selection based on leadership and academic performance. Consideration may be given to financial need.

GLADYS CHASEY LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP

For full-time entering freshmen with leadership skills and a high school GPA of 2.75 or above. Consideration may be given to financial need.

CONQUE FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP

For full-time students with a GPA of 2.5 or above and who demonstrate financial need. First preference shall be given to business majors.

CONWAY CANCER FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

For full-time students with a GPA of 2.75 or above. First preference given to students who have been a patient or who have a family member treated by Conway Hematology Oncology. Second preference given to students pursuing a degree within the College of Health and Behavioral Sciences. Consideration may be given to financial need.
