LaGrange High School Dual Enrollment Blueprint

Participation Criteria:

▪ Must be at least 15 years old

▪ Must be currently enrolled in the 11th or 12th grade at a public or private Louisiana high school or in a state-approved home school program

▪ Must be on track for completing the TOPS/University Core Curriculum

▪ Must be in good standing as defined by the high school

▪ Must have permission from the high school and his/her parent to participate. Permission granted by signature on Course Request Form

▪ Must have a minimum overall high school GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale plus the scores listed below

The state of Louisiana pays for the March ACT test for all publicly enrolled juniors

• Send your scores to McNeese (1594 reporting code) and to TOPS (1595 reporting code) Students can send ACT scores to 4 places free of charge

• Retest in October and/or December for maximum scholarship opportunities

How to Get Started - Make sure student meets grade point average and score requirements

Step One - Apply online at the McNeese website mcneese.edu

Step Two - Fill in Course Enrollment Request Form in Black Ink & turn form in timely to counselor

If scores do not meet requirements, schedule the ACT and/or Accuplacer exams as soon as possible
