The group emerged as a sign of hope amidst a pandemic, collaborating with the likes of David Foster, Gloria Estefan, Pia Toscano, and many more.Fernando Varela is a music industry veteran and America’s Got Talent Finalist. Fernando has toured the world with David Foster, Sarah Brightman, and several others. As a soloist, he has performed to critical international acclaim and has been featured many times on PBS including An Intimate Evening with David Foster, 2019 GRAMMY Salute to Music Legends, Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song Honoring Emilio & Gloria Estefan, and on his very own debut PBS Special, Coming Home. Devin Eatmon is a fast-rising young tenor from Ocala and scheduled appearances altered due to 2020 with Santa Fe Opera, and Opera Colorado. The final member of the group, Craig Irvin has portrayed Gaston in Disney’s Beauty and The Beast as well as numerous leading roles with countless opera countries across North America. Opera News hashailed Craig's “rich, resonant baritone” while the Dallas Morning News has celebrated his “truly commanding baritone.”The Serenad3 prides itself on creating lush arrangements with beautifully intricate harmonies. The creative team behind the group consists of producer Jorge Vivo - a Grammy and Emmy-nominated, exceptionally talented engineer and mixer. Jorge Vivo has been a key part of David Foster's team for over 18 years. He has worked with artists such as Michael Bublé, Andrea Bocelli, Rod Stewart and Barbra Streisand and is much sought after for his amazing recording skills. Tim Davis arranged all of the vocals on the album and is arguably the greatest vocal arranger of our time. From six seasons of Fox’s hit series GLEE to Lady Gaga’s 2017 Super Bowl Halftime Show, Tim’s work spans the industry in every direction. Finally, Carlos Rodgarman, The Serenad3’s orchestral arranger, hails from Vigo, Spain and his incredibly lush musical arrangements breathe life into every song the group records. The season saw the?revival of his Dan Packard in?Dinner at Eight with?the Wexford?Festival, Lt. Horstmayer in?Silent Night with?Austin Opera, Valentin in?Faust?with Opera Omaha, and Rachmaninoff’s?The Bells with?the?Portland Symphony. This season includes returns to Minnesota?Opera as Orest in Elektra and?Utah Opera for a reprise of his Lt.?Horstmayer in?Silent Night. Additionally, he has sung Count Almaviva in Mozart’s?Le Nozze di Figaro?and Zurga in?Les pêcheurs de Perles?with Utah?Opera, Dan Packard in?Dinner at Eight, Mandryka in?Arabella, and?Peter in?H?nsel und Gretel?with Minnesota Opera, made his role?debut as?Macbeth with LoftOpera, sang Escamillo in Carmen with?Fort?Worth Opera, debuted with Sarasota Opera as Marcello in?La?bohème and Anchorage Opera in the title role of?The Mikado, sang?Pirate King in?The Pirates of Penzance with?Nashville Opera and?Pensacola Opera, made his role debut as Dandini in Pensacola?Opera’s?La Cenerentola, and performed the Villains in?The Tales of?Hoffman?and Leporello in?Don Giovanni with Wolf?Trap Opera.Devin Eatmon:Devin M. Eatmon is a tenor from Ocala, Florida. His performance?history includes being a resident?Artist of the Central Florida Lyric?Opera (2013/15), a Studio Artist at Opera in the Ozarks, (summer?2015), and summers at Aspen Music Festival (2018/19). With both a Bachelor’s?and Master’s degree in Voice Performance from Florida State?University; Devin studied under the tutelage of former San Francisco?Opera starring bass-baritone, David Okerlund. Some of his more?notable collegiate roles include George Villiers in Carlisle Floyd’s,?Prince of Players (2017), Rodolfo in Giacomo Puccini's, La bohème?(2018), Curley in Floyd's, Of Mice and Men (2019), and Edgar Aubrey in?Heinrich Marschner’s, Der Vampyr (2019). In light of more recent?events, Mr. Eatmon had accepted a contract offer to be a member?of the Apprentice Singer Program at The Santa Fe Opera,?2020. There, he was to cover Marc in the World Premiere of Huang?Ruo’s, M. Butterfly (Season canceled due to Covid-19). Mr. Eatmon?currently lives in Denver, Colorado performing as an Artist in Residence?for Opera Colorado for their 2020/21 season. His most notable role?assignment was to cover the role of Don José in their production of?Georges Bizet’s, Carmen (Main Stage season postponed due to?Covid-19 pandemic).Fernando Varela:The story behind Fernando Varela begins and ends with a voice. A?voice tells the tale of a breathtaking tenor whose spirit and?determination has defied the odds. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico,?Fernando moved to Florida at the age of eight, and while he always?loved music it was not until he was seventeen that he discovered the?impressive talent he had within him. Fernando trained with some of?opera’s renowned classical icons and tours worldwide with Grammy?Award-Winning producer David Foster. Varela can also be seen?featured on David Foster’s recently released PBS Special. He?has also performed amongst some legendary superstars including?Lionel Richie, Sarah Brightman, Babyface, Gladys Knight, Peter Cetera,?Neil Diamond, Seal, Jewel, The Beach Boys, Steven?Tyler, Josh Groban, and Chaka Kahn. ?In 2019 Fernando was a?special guest performer for two prestigious events that aired on PBS: The Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for?Popular Song honoring Gloria and Emilio Estefan, as well as The Grammy Salute to Legends where he honored Julio Iglesias. Varela is signed with?Universal Music Group and released his debut album “Vivere,” in March?2017, accompanied by his debut solo PBS Special, "Coming Home.”?Fernando is currently in the studio with producer Emilio Estefan working?on his follow-up album.
