Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff, and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2021 ? Declaration of Result of Computer Based Examination (Paper-I) to call candidates for the next stage of examination.

Staff Selection Commission conducted Computer Based Examination (Paper-I) of Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff, and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2021 from 05.07.2022 to 26.07.2022 at various centers all over the country.

2. As the Computer Based Examination was conducted in multiple shifts, marks scored by candidates have been normalized as per the formula published by the Commission on its website vide Notice No: 1-1/2018-P&P-I dated 07.02.2019. As per the provision under Para-14.4.3 of the Notice of the Examination, candidates have been shortlisted in Paper-I using normalized scores of the candidates.

3. As per the guidelines mentioned under Para-17 of the Notice of Examination, candidates have been considered for selection against the vacancies of only those Post-cum-States/ UTs/ CCAs for which they have given their preference in their online Application Form.

4. As per Para 18.5 to 18.7 of the Notice of the Examination, candidates have been shortlisted on the basis of their performance in Paper-I, for appearing in:

(i) Physical Efficiency Test/ Physical Standard Test (PET/PST) and Paper-II for the posts of Havaldar.

(ii) Paper-II for the posts of MTS.

5. As per the guidelines mentioned under Para-18.4 of the notice of examination, separate age group-wise, category-wise and State/ UT-wise cut-offs have been fixed in Paper-I, for the post of MTS, as the vacancies are reported under two age groups i.e. (i) 18 to 25 years and (ii) 18 to 27 years.

6. As the candidates are eligible for the posts of MTS as well as Havaldar, therefore as per Para 18.7 of the Notice of the Examination separate lists of the candidates for the posts of Havaldar and MTS have been prepared. Therefore, there may be common candidates for both the posts.

7. Category-wise breakup of candidates provisionally shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the Paper-I for appearing in PET/PST and Paper-II for the posts of Havaldar and for appearing in Paper-II for the posts of MTS is as follows:

8. Category-wise and State/ UT wise cut-off details in Paper-I are as follows:

(i) Cut-off details of vacancies for the post of MTS are as given in Annexure-I. (ii) Cut-off details of vacancies for the post of Havaldar are as given in Annexure-II.

9. As per the tie resolution criteria mentioned in the Notice of the Examination, in cases where more than one candidate secured equal aggregate marks, tie has been resolved by applying the following methods one after another in the given order till the tie is resolved:

(i) Marks in Part-IV (General Awareness) of CBE. (ii) Date of birth i.e. the candidate older in age gets preference. (iii) Alphabetical order of the names.

10. 14 candidates (i.e. 28 records) were found to have appeared in the examination twice. Therefore, in consonance to the Para-25 (h) of the Notice of Examination, candidature of these candidates has been cancelled.

11. As per the record available in the Commission, it is found that 34 debarred candidates have appeared in the examination. Therefore, result of the following 34 candidates has not been processed:

The schedule of PET/PST for the posts of Havaldar will be available on the website of the Commission in due course. The Admission Certificates of the qualified candidates will be uploaded on the websites of the respective Regional Offices of the Commission about a week before the date of examination. However, the candidates, who are unable to download their Admission Certificate, may contact the Regional Office concerned, immediately. The responsibility of ensuring the download of the Admission Certificate is solely on the candidates. 14. Representations received from the candidates with regard to the Answer Keys have been carefully examined and the Answer Keys have been modified wherever necessary. The final Answer Keys have been used for evaluation. Final Answer Keys will be uploaded on the website of the Commission on 17.10.2022. 15. Marks of the qualified/non-qualified candidates will be made available on the website of the Commission on 17.10.2022. This facility will be available from 17.10.2022 to 06.11.2022. Candidates may check their individual marks by using their Registration No. and registered password and click on Result/ Marks tab on the candidate dashboard.
