Trash Collection & Recycling Schedule Starting May 1st, 2022

CAMDEN, NJ ? Mayor Victor Carstarphen would like to remind residents and business owners that beginning May 1st, the City will continue with once a week trash collection schedule. The recycling collection schedule remains once per week throughout the year.

Residents or businesses who have questions, want more information about their trash collection schedule, need to know which trash collection district they live in, or would like to pick-up a trash can or recycling bin should call the City Department of Public Works at 856-757-7139 or DPW Hotline at 856-757-7034 or visit the City webpage at ci.camden.nj.us and click on the Recycle Coach feature at ci.camden.nj.us/public-works-department or download the application.

Also, as required by the state "Electronics Waste Management Act", electronic waste or e-waste items such as televisions, all personal or portable computers, computer monitors and other electronics cannot be disposed with regular trash. For proper disposal, schedule your pick up by calling the Department of Public Works at 856-757-7132 or 856-757-7139. For additional resources and information residents can contact:
