The all-volunteer instructors of Project Appleseed will present a marksmanship clinic scheduled for the Blue & Gray Range for the weekend of August 26/27, 2017.? Focus of the clinic will be teaching and refining solid fundamentals for prone, kneeling/sitting, and standing positions.? Some early American history will also be presented.? Responsible youth welcome.? Observers are welcome (with ear protection).? The Range will be CLOSED for other activities for this event.Appleseed 2017 pricing is as follows:1.? Adult tickets: 60 dollars.?2.? Youth (under 18): 20 dollars.3.? Anyone with ideas can submit them to Keith Perry. kperry214@.200 Yard High Power: The?September 2nd?High-Power match will be fired on the 200 yard range and will consist of the National Match Course of fire (50 rds.) along with 5 minutes of unlimited sighters . The match fee is?$10?and some awards will be given out. Competitors firing with us for the first time shoot without having to pay the match fee.?Set up will begin at 0700 with first round down range at 0800. This match is an informal club function and is not a NRA or CMP approved event. Come out and shoot with us and let's try to revive the clubs High Power program.questions??deathbeforef@Garand Match: The Fall Garand Match will be held 30. September on the Blue and Gray 200 yard range. This will be a 50 round Garand match, followed by a 40 round carbine match and ending with 10 rounds on the pistol range. Shoot all 3 events for $40 or $20 each. Garands and Carbines must be “as issued” to be eligible for any awards; any safe rifle can be fired in the “out of competition” category. Set up/sign up starts at 0730, first round down at 0830 or when first relay is full.
