Unobstructed horizon in that direction (to the West, the zodiacal light was a nuisance), at latitude about 22-deg, of another 10-deg better than Tucson. So, I got to see a whole bunch of Milky Way objects not visible from here, and a better view of some that are, like Omega Centauri. ................
