Letter Grades

Here is the information we received about letter grades in Grade Speed for PE, art, and music, handwriting, etc.

The consensus from the elementary principals is to eliminate the “I“ and go with only E, S, N, and U with the numeric values:

S        80-100

N       70-79

U        below 70

The number grades will appear on Progress Reports but not on the computer generated Report Cards.  Check with your principal to see if you should send progress reports for these classes.

Reports (printer icon) [pic]

Select the appropriate report. Generate to see it and Print on the Internet toolbar to print

**Click another icon to change screens**

Progress Reports (paper and pencil icon) [pic]

1. Options – all the details about how the report will look – Assignment Detail (etc.), elementary options, signature line (etc.) and notes to all students

2. Select Students – which ones you want to print

3. Campus Codes – will be there later for HS and MS --You can add Comment Codes of your own – make sure they are capital letters and not numbers

4. Citizenship – only enter U or N – S is automatic

5. Click Generate to view the reports and then click the Print icon on the Internet toolbar to send to the printer

**The Clear button will clear all comment codes from the Comment section – It will NOT clear the Citizenship grade**
