3714750125730NAME_____________________________00NAME_____________________________Class meets in the Doerr Lab on Friday (Ms. H will not be there, so work quietly for the faculty prefect in the room! This is a lab, so you are to experiment and figure out your own work!)Class meets again in the Doerr Lab on Monday and you can then ask Ms. H questions if necessary. To start:Open the MSWord lab report found on our assignment page. Immediately save a copy of that file into your own directory. As you add to the lab report, save often so you don’t lose work.Open GeoGebra and immediately go to Options/Font Size/28 ptKeep your grid SQUARE, meaning x and y units should be equal. To reset equal units on the x and y axis, find layout preferences and set x:y ratio to 1:1. (In different versions this is in different menus.)As you complete the lab report, read all directions carefully. Keep in mind that your lab report is meant to serve as review & study guide for students. To copy a graph to the clipboard and then into your Lab Report:4558665825500First, arrange the graph window to show only what you want to copy & pasteDo this by minimizing the window and then drag the lower right corner to resize the window and scroll the graph to be centered.Ctrl+Shift+C is the keystroke or go to Edit/Graphics View to ClipboardGo to your MSWord file and be sure your cursor in the table cell location and then use Ctrl+V or Edit/Paste to paste from the clipboardThe graphic will be very large so you’ll need to click and drag one corner of the object to make it smaller.Once all six graphs are into your file, you can resize the graphs to make them look compatibly sized.GeoGebra Functions:abs(x – 3) for |x – 3|2 * sin(x – pi) for 2sin(x – π)(3x – 5)^(1/2) or sqrt(3x – 5) for 3x-5 (3x – 5)^(1/3) for 33x-5ln(x) for ln xe^x for exWhen you get to the last page, you should make and label your own graph – do not make this graph with GeoGebra. I recommend that you print this last page and handwrite your work. You may type your explanation if you wish, but remember that your graph should be done by hand.OverMSWord File:As you type in the Word file you will likely end up with extra blank lines. Delete them.Keep each matching problem of six equations and six graphs all on one page. That is, do not make your graphs so large that the table runs over one page.Go to the Insert tab and choose equation to enter math equations and symbols. Use the pull down templates. It will take some practice, but the equation editor will often be useful in homework. ................
