Family Home Health Care, Inc. Certified Home Health Aide Training Program Family Home Health Care (FHHC) is offering a FREE Home Health Aide (HHA) certification class starting on April 9th at 15 MetroTech Center, 3rd Floor, Brooklyn NY, 11201. The HHA training program is approved by the New York State Department of Health and is taught by a registered nurse. Upon completing the 75 hours of in-classroom training, there are 8 hours of hands-on-training (clinical) to be completed at one of our facilities. The program is 3 weeks; it runs Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.Upon acceptance into the program, you are responsible for having a doctor complete a physical exam form (physicals must have been completed within the last 12 months) and also provide results of a drug screen. There is a $45.00 deposit for the HHA Training textbook which will be returned at the end of the program upon return of the textbook.Upon successful completion of the program, you will be a per diem certified Home Health Aide employed by FHHC and will be placed on a patient case. We have cases in Westchester, Putnam, Rockland counties and New York City (5 Boroughs).
