Remember to include what you did, how you felt, and you could also include what you are missing and what you wish you could do. Upload your diary entry if you are able so that we can read about how you are getting on. You can either write this in your jotter or type it on a blank document on Seesaw. Numeracy:Log onto using your log in details and play the numeracy games that have been set for your group. Log-ins have been set to the same as your Sumdog log-ins. The school code is mw9l (l for lima)Sumdog: Complete 20 mins per day on Sumdog Maths. We have reset the Sumdog diagnostic assessment to be completed. This will come up automatically – you don’t need to do anything.Check out what the pandas, penguins and tigers are doing at Edinburgh Zoo - .uk/webcams.How does it make you feel seeing these animals?For an extra challenge can you research the environments where these animals are found?Watch Newsround or log onto and choose a science video to watch. Write down 3 interesting facts you have learned and share these on Seesaw if you are able. Read for at least 30 minutes every day and talk about your book. Keep a log of the books you read. Log into and listen to a story throughout the week. Play spelling and maths games on Sumdog as well as doing your weekly challenges. Continue to do the daily Joe Wicks workout.If possible try to get outside for some fresh air. Please continue to upload any work onto the Learning Journal website or on Seesaw. And please keep sending us any messages or queries as they arise! Reading: Choose at least one fiction and one non-fiction book from EPIC and read them for your own enjoyment. Now add in the missing punctuation and upload onto Seesaw if you are able.Angles: Find examples of different types of angles in your home. Draw these in your jotter and label each angle either an obtuse, acute or right angle. Here is a reminder: an extra challenge you could estimate how many degrees your angles are and write this down.Singing:Get your week off to a great start by joining the Fischy Music assembly. Log in at 11am on Monday:fischymusic.STEM:Read “The Daily STEM” and complete the weekly tasks: challenge:Greenhouse gas experiment – See instructions on Seesaw.Spelling: Log onto Sumdog and complete your weekly spelling challenge.Choose 10 words from your Sumdog challenge (try to pick words you find challenging) and write them in your jotter using one colour for vowels and another for consonants. We have also uploaded some common word lists onto Seesaw which you could use for your spelling activities. Time:Estimate how long it will take you to do a range of activities. Here are a few examples:50 star jumpsWrite your name 10 timesOnce you have written down your estimations, use a stopwatch on a phone or ipad to time how long they took and compare with your estimations. For an extra challenge practise converting these times between minutes and seconds. Log onto to play the time games that have been set for you.
