We regret to announce that as at 1st July 2008, we have stopped taking Bank Drafts. Unfortunately, they have simply become too problematic to check the authenticity.
D COLLECTION Collections can only be made after all lots purchased have been paid for in full.
Our standard collection policy is that all goods should be paid for and collected within two full working days of an auction. In the instance of this auction, whilst all purchases must be paid for within two working days, no later than 4.30 pm on Tuesday 8th December 2009, we have extended the collection deadline to Thursday 10th December 2009. For the avoidance of any doubt, this means that whilst buyers have until Thursday 10th December 2009 to collect their purchases, they must still pay for them in full, in cleared funds, by Tuesday 8th December 2009.
Collection by bidders who have paid their outstanding balance in full will commence immediately after the auction finishes and we will remain open for collection until 4.30 pm on auction day. Collection will then take place between the hours of 8.30 am and 4.30 pm on Monday 7th, Tuesday 8th, Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10th December 2009. Purchasers buy lots where they lie and must bring any necessary labour, lifting tackle and equipment in order to remove their lots. Portering staff are NOT available to assist, only to supervise. See Special Notice Collections page regarding forklift truck availability.
The purchaser shall comply with any directions with respect to the removal of goods, which may be given by the Auctioneers' staff.
E SMOKING No smoking is permitted anywhere upon the premises.
F TRANSFER Lots may not be transferred between buyers, and must be paid for by the successful bidder.
G DESCRIPTIONS The lots are sold 'as they lie' with all faults and errors in description, quantity or measurement (if any). Lots may be new, used, refurbished or not, working or broken, soiled, damaged, incomplete, etc. Boxed goods may not contain any relevant books, manuals, disks, leads, etc, and/or might contain different colours/models/or even different products. We recommend that buyers do not bid unless they have examined lots to their satisfaction prior to doing so - see Clause 9 of our Terms and Conditions - IF IN DOUBT DO NOT BID.
H SHORTAGES There will be no allowance made for any shortages.
I TERMS AND CONDITIONS Prospective purchasers are advised to read thoroughly and ensure they understand our Terms and Conditions. Bidders, by the act of bidding, are accepting our Terms & Conditions of Trading – IF IN DOUBT DO NOT BID.
J BEWARE At the fall of the hammer the security of the lot is the purchaser's responsibility. The Auctioneer will not be responsible if lots are lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed - they are at the sole risk of the purchaser.
SPECIAL ADDITIONAL NOTES
a. Please note that the white cages, grey tables, plastic boxes, pallets, screens and any other display equipment are the property of the Auctioneers and therefore not included in the sale.
b. FOLLOW-ON Buyers should particularly note that in instances where we state “Ditto” we will be giving the “follow on option”. This does NOT necessarily mean the items are identical. Furthermore intending buyers should note that it is possible that the follow on option is offered with similar products where some of them have additional accessories and/or components and also that such items may even have specifications which vary to a greater or lesser degree. The catalogue has been prepared in haste with insufficient time for us to check in detail and highlight any such variations – if in doubt adjust your bid accordingly or do not bid.
c. DESCRIPTIONS Before bidding please bear in mind that all quantities, descriptions, sizes and other information are approximate estimates only. Items lotted up for sale are not always checked/counted/measured by us, and additionally typing (and other) errors sometimes occur. Please note that when describing a number of the lots we have had to rely on counts (or estimates), which we have assumed to be accurate for the purpose of cataloguing, but which may well be incorrect in some cases. Bidders are recommended to check lots for accuracy, make their own assessments, and adjust their bids accordingly. Bidders will be charged for the quantity listed in the catalogue - no allowance will be made for shortages. Lots are sold "as seen" - what you see is what you buy. If you are in any doubt, please do not bid.
d. VEHICLES – IMPORTANT NOTE Where we have paperwork in connection to the vehicles (e.g., log book, MOT, service history, etc.) copies have been affixed inside the window of each relevant vehicle, for your inspection. As with all lots in the catalogue, it is imperative that bidders check this information, to their satisfaction, prior to bidding. Bidders should not rely solely on the information within the catalogue as an indication to anything whatsoever in relation to the vehicles. If in doubt, do not bid.
e. Bank transfers must be ‘CHAPS’ or ‘SWIFT’, and must be cleared in our account prior to collection. Please quote your bidder number to assist us.

f. ADDITIONAL DEPOSITS A £200 fully refundable deposit is required to obtain a bidding card, which is essential in order to bid. Those spending in excess of £10,000 (inclusive of Buyer’s Premium and VAT) will be required to produce an additional deposit upon the fall of the hammer equivalent to 10% of their outstanding balance. The only acceptable forms of this additional deposit are cash or credit/debit card (we do NOT charge a surcharge for credit/debit card payments).
IF YOU ARE IN ANY DOUBT WHATSOEVER WITH REGARD TO YOUR ABILITY TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT UPON THE FALL OF THE HAMMER, WE WOULD ADVISE THAT YOU SHOULD EITHER PAY A LARGER DEPOSIT AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION (OR INDEED MAKE A DEPOSIT BY WAY OF BANK TRANSFER PRIOR TO ATTENDING THE SALE), WHICH OF COURSE IS FULLY REFUNDABLE IN THE EVENT YOU SPEND LESS THAN YOUR DEPOSIT, OR ALTERNATIVELY PLEASE DO NOT BID. IN THE EVENT OF ANY BIDDER BEING UNABLE TO PRODUCE THIS ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT, THEIR PURCHASE WILL BE RESCINDED AND THE RELEVANT LOT/LOTS WILL IMMEDIATELY BE REAUCTIONED.
Commission/Telephone Bidding We are happy to accept commission bids, buying items as cheaply as possible on your behalf, up to a maximum of your defined limits, providing you have viewed the assets and left a deposit. Telephone bidding is also acceptable (on higher value lots only), again providing you have viewed the assets, registered, and left a deposit as with commission bids, of 10% of the maximum level you anticipate bidding up to.

PLEASE NOTE this tank includes the large quantity of white diesel located therein. The diesel was emptied from a static diesel tank into this tank by our men. The gauge on the static diesel tank indicated approximately 1,575 litres of diesel was dispensed into this tank, however whilst we have no reason to doubt the accuracy of the gauge, as with all lot descriptions neither can we actually warrant the quantity. The gauge on this 2,000 litre tank, which indicated empty before we transferred the diesel now shows the tank to be approximately ¾ full which would appear to support this estimated quantity.
This lot consists of both the tank itself and the diesel contents therein.
