Ripping CD Songs to MP3s
(1) Insert the CD into the computer. (2) If MusicMatch JukeBox (MM) does not come up or some other player comes up, stop the
other player and run MusicMatch JukeBox. Normally, MusicMatch JukeBox will start playing the CD immediately, press the stop () button on the upper left if this is the case. If you have more than one CD drive, use the CD button on the left to select the one you want. You will see a window like the following:

(3) Optional: MM can go out on the Internet and fetch CD title and song information. To enable this feature, in the title bar click Options Settings and then click the "CD Lookup/Connectivity" tab. You will see this window:
In the "CD Lookup Settings" section check the "Enable CD Lookup service" box and click the "OK" button. MM will go out on the Internet and attempt to find a title match for CDs. You may have to select from a list. Follow the instructions in any windows that pop up.

(4) To configure for MP3 ripping: In the title bar click Tools Settings and then click the "Recorder" tab. You will see this window:
In the "Recording Quality" section, use the drop down "Recording format" menu to select "MP3" and select "CD quality (128 kbps)." Do NOT click "OK" yet.

Use the "..." button to select the directory where MM will place the ripped music. If "Artist" and/or "Album" are checked under "Make Sub-Path using:," MM will create a directory tree in the directory you selected. You can select the name given to individual songs using the "Name Track File using:" section. Click "OK" after you have made your selections. You will be back at the window in step 4. Click "OK". You will be back at the window in step 2.

(6) Click the "Copy from CD" tab near the bottom left of the MM window and if you see the following window, click the "Yes" button.

Select the songs you want to rip. In this example, three songs are selected.
Click the "Start Copy" button on the upper left and you should see ripping progress percentages. These will be replaced by the word "Done."
Your songs have been ripped to MP3s.
MM is now configured to rip CD songs to MP3s. You can put another CD into your computer and rip the songs without the configuration steps.
