As processes and documentation constantly change, if you come across discrepancies, please notify us of the changes at support@assistx.me so we can update this document to ensure that it is accurate. In a nutshell, the steps areEnable Teacher AAD sign-in for ClassPolicy Classic appEnable Teacher AAD sign-in for ClassPolicy Next appBoth steps are almost identical except the redirect URI settings. Register ClassPolicy Azure AD app with the Azure Management PortalThe following instructions are for granting ClassPolicy teacher app access to sign-in information through ClassPolicy Azure AD app. Sign into the Azure Management Portal, using your Office 365 business admin account credentials.Click the Azure Active Directory node in the left column and select the directory linked to your Office 365 subscription.Please repeat twice the below steps for ClassPolicy Classic teacher app and ClassPolicy Next teacher app.Select the App registrations tab and then New registration at the top of the page.To register new Azure Active Directory app, please see the below info for each field.For Name field, For ClassPolicy classic teacher app, enter “ClassPolicy Classic Teacher AAD App”.For ClassPolicy next teacher app, enter “ClassPolicy Next Teacher AAD App”.For Supported account types field, select “Accounts in any organizational directory (Any Azure AD directory – Multitenant).For Redirect URI, choose “Public client (mobile & desktop)” for Type, and for REDIRECT URI, For ClassPolicy Classic teacher app, enter ms-app://s-1-15-2-3816429394-123240985-688901982-2388679701-4192685877-4097269102-3080857829/For ClassPolicy Next teacher app, enter ms-app://S-1-15-2-835787666-1316706567-2160823966-2447606588-810271630-44976689-2448769214/ Then click Register.Note: If it complains about invalid redirect URI, it might be something to do with copy & paste of the above URI having some invisible control characters. To work around this, open Notepad app, copy & paste into Notepad first, then copy & paste into Redirect URI field again.Click the app that you have just registered. Your screen should look like the following:Copy Application (client) ID for the next steps.Configure ClassPolicy District Setting to enable Azure AD Sign-inLogin to the ClassPolicy Admin with your administrator credentials.From the left navigation select “District” and then “Edit district” as shown in the image below.In the Teacher Domain Suffix text box, enter the domain suffix of your teacher’s Office 365 accounts. The suffix should start with an @ symbol added to the domain name.In the Student Domain Suffix text box, enter the domain suffix of your student’s Office 365 accounts. The suffix should start with an @ symbol added to the domain name.Copy the ClassPolicy Classic Teacher AAD App’s Application ID from the Azure Management Portal and paste it into the ClassPolicy Classic Teacher AAD Application ID text box.Copy the ClassPolicy Next Teacher AAD App’s Application ID from the Azure Management Portal and paste it into the ClassPolicy Next Teacher AAD Application ID text box.Please refer to the image of the ClassPolicy Admin below with a sample after providing the above fields.For teachers to sign in with their Azure AD account, change Teacher sign in method to “AAD_SIGNIN”.Scroll down and click on the “Update” button to save changes. The confirmation dialog will pop up as below:That completes the setup process to configure Azure AD sign-in for teachers with ClassPolicy.
