Introduction:Educationists have used puzzles time immemorial as teaching, learning and assessment tools. They have been found to have an intrinsic appeal to children. Parents,teachers,learners can thus use that appeal to sharpen students' thinking and problem-solving skills, develop new concepts, and reinforce skills in such curriculum areas as literacy, language, arts, mathematics, science, and social studies.This puzzle covers Primary one for term one. It covers work related to the following themes/Learning areas for term one;Theme One: Our school. This covers concepts on people in Our School, things in our school and activities in our schoolTheme Two: Our Home. This covers concepts on people in our home (nuclear family), roles/responsibilities of different family members and things found in our homes and their uses.Theme Three: Our community. This looks at people in our community, activities in our community and important places in our community.Theme Four: The human body and health. This covers concepts on external parts of the body and their uses, personal Hygiene, diseases (common diseases, causes and spread of diseases and preventive measures.By the time government ordered for shutdown of the schools, children were expected to have completed theme three and were about or could have started on theme four.
