Assessment Plan : 2008
The course content consists of five main topics, which are as follows:
1. Trigonometric Preliminaries – 6 hours (3 weeks)

2. Polynomials & Complex Numbers – 24 hours (8 weeks)
• Complex Numbers, Real Polynomials
3. Deductive Geometry & vectors – 24 hours (7 weeks)
• Three Dimensional Vector Geometry, Geometry (Vector & Deductive Proof)
4. Calculus – 26 hours (7 weeks)
Calculus, Trigonometric Calculus, related rates applications
5. Differential Equations – 20 hours (7 weeks)
Differential Equations, Systems of Differential Equations
Your final subject assessment mark (out of 100) will be determined by Skills & Applications Tasks (Tests & Mid Year Exam): Weighting =70% & Portfolio (Directed Investigations and/or Project): Weighting =30%.
