Rare 'super blood Moon' eclipse to put on stunning display in January--

Something you might want to plan to do over the upcoming long weekend is to let the kids stay up and see the ‘super blood moon’ eclipse on Sunday, January 20th. Third grade studies the moon, so this will tie in directly to things they are learning in science. The 2019 total lunar eclipse will last approximately 1 hour and 2 minutes,  reports. It will kick off around 11:41 p.m. ET on Jan. 20 and peak around 12:16 a.m. ET on Jan. 21.

Enjoy your weekend! Sharon Stingley
