From the desk of Dr. Nichols:Updates for Eastover Parents and FamiliesWeek of 3/30/15***next edition—week of 4/13/15***-CMS Parent Survey: I’m extremely confident in the work of our teachers and staff, but I know we cannot succeed alone. We must partner with you and other parents to ensure our students’ success. This is why we’re launching our School Climate Survey for parents, which asks for your feedback. The survey launches Monday, March 30, 2015 and is open to all CMS parents. The survey asks about important topics such as academic preparation, parent/guardian engagement, safety and behavior, school operations and school leadership. When you take this survey it’s completely anonymous. CMS works with an independent partner, K12 Insight, to give this survey. Results go directly to CMS and no one at CMS will know if you participated or be able to connect you to your answers. Your feedback is critical to ensuring we move CMS in the right direction. If you have a current email address on file, you’ll receive a personal survey invitation. If not, you can participate by going to CMS/Parent2015.html or clicking the link on our district website. If you don’t have easy access to the Internet, paper surveys are available upon request by contacting the front office. I hope you will partner with us and make your voice count!
