The Music Show Episode #1: The Beat Is the Heart of Music



MUSICGrades K-2nd:WEEK 6 05-04-20:Let’s review the things we have learned in Music over the last few weeks! You are welcome to go back through the lessons and refresh your memory. Reminder: All of these activities/links can be found on youTube, which can be accessed via your computer, a Smart Phone or even on your TV if it is a SmartTV!To view the videos without the pesky ads:Go to and paste the URL (website address) of your educational video into the grey box.Click “purify” It will take out ads and give you a new “pure” link to copy/paste and use.? ?These lessons were intended to cover 5 weeks: March 30, April 6, April 13, April 20 and April 27 weeks. I’ve included another copy of the log at the end of this document, just in case you need another copy. It is to be turned in when we return to the school with the dates each activity is completed entered in the blanks next to the activity.*Movement songs – You can do the Movement songs daily or weekly or as often as you wish! We have a lot of fun in the Music classroom with songs like, “The Freeze” and “Animal Action 1 and 2” by Greg and Steve. The songs give instructions in the words to the song. Focus on keeping a steady beat as you move to these songs. You can put the beat in your hands, your feet, your hips, your arms….. just keep in time with the music! And HAVE FUN!
