Company-provided annual contributions of 3-5% (separate from company match) of eligible pay based on age and years of service - Annual contribution is 100% vested after 3 years of service - Eligibility for the annual contribution is dependent upon being employed on the last day of the plan year and having worked 1,000 hours during the plan year

Time Off with Pay

Caterpillar values the importance of work/life balance and provides employees with paid time off to be used within the calendar year.

Vacation

Your years of company service as of January 1 determine the amount of vacation for the respective calendar year:

Less than 1 year: 1 day per month of service (10 days maximum) ? 1 ? 4 years: 13 days ? 5 ? 9 years: 18 days ? 10 ? 14 years: 21 days ? 15 or more years: 23 days Those who reach a 5, 10 or 15 year service anniversary during the year are eligible to receive a prorated portion of the additional week of vacation based on their date of hire. The additional vacation days are available on January 1 of that year. Vacation days cannot be rolled over into the next year. Employees are paid out for earned, unused vacation days at the time of separation.

Additional Days Off

? Floating holiday: 1 paid day per year for personal use at your discretion (please note the floating holiday is given at business unit discretion, otherwise Good Friday will be observed as a holiday)

? Volunteer day: 1 paid day per year intended to be used for volunteering

The floating holiday and volunteer day cannot be rolled over into the next year. Employees are not paid out for the floating holiday or volunteer day upon separation.
