QuadBattleRules, Objective, and Description of PlayQuadBattle is a game in which you need to capture the flag of your opponent while defending your own flag. To capture the flag you use your army of 40 pieces. Pieces are mainly in the form of some type of Quadrilateral (there are a few special exceptions) and have rank based on the properties that specific Quadrilateral type has. Each quadrilateral has at least one of eleven specified “weapons” (properties – see list below). In addition to these ranked pieces you can use Hexagon Bombs to protect your flag.Pieces move 1 square per turn, horizontally or vertically. Only the scout triangle can move over multiple empty squares per turn. A piece cannot jump over another piece. If a piece is moved onto a square occupied by an opposing piece, an attack is initiated by the moving piece. Their identities are revealed. The attacking piece then chooses its “weapon” of choice. Pieces must contain that property (“weapon”) in order to declare its use. If the defending piece does not possess the weapon chosen by the attacker, then it is captured (removed from play). The winning piece is moved into the place formerly occupied by the captured piece. If the attacking piece uses a weapon that the defending piece possesses and the defender correctly declares so, then the attack is thwarted and no capture ensues. Furthermore, a defending piece that thwarts capture because of incorrect or unwise choice of weapon by the attacker can launch a counter-attack if it believes it has a weapon that the attacker does not possess. If the counter attack is not successful, the original defender is captured. If the engaging pieces are the same, they are both removed. Pieces may not move onto a square already occupied by another piece without attacking. The following Quadrilateral pieces are the ones used in QuadBattle in which weapons are employed (declared): Name (quantity)Square (1)Rectangle (2)Rhombus (2)Parallelogram (3)Isosceles Trapezoid (4)Trapezoid (4)Quadrilateral (4)5029200525780The bombs and the flag cannot be moved. Non Special Triangles are used as scouts. As they lose to every piece on the board, they are used to simply find out the identity of opponents pieces. Solely sacrificial.Regular Hexagons are used as bombs (HB’s), non-moving pieces used for protection. HB’s destroy anything that attacks it, except the miner (Equilateral Triangle). Bombs lose when they are defused by a miner. The 45-45-90 Special Right Triangle can use special power and defeat the Square. This is an exception to the rule of the higher rank winning. When the spy (45-45-90) attacks the square, the spy defeats the square. However, when the square attacks the spy, the spy loses.List of WeaponsEach quadrilateral type has at least 1 of these “Weapons” (properties) to be chosen when attacking or defending. Both sets of opposite sides are parallelBoth sets of opposite sides are congruentThe diagonals bisect each otherOpposite angles are congruentConsecutive (adjacent) angles are congruentAll sides are congruentAll angles are rightDiagonals are perpendicularDiagonals are congruentDiagonals are angle bisectorsOne set of opposite sides are parallelOne set of opposite sides are congruentHas 4 sides ................
