There is ancient knowledge so powerful, it has been hidden, distorted, and used to enslave humanity for thousands of years. Using an interdisciplinary approach to archaeology, combined with personal experiences and metaphysical insight, author and archaeologist, Heather Lynn, presents questions and theories about the origin of human consciousness, God, and the power structures that have come to dominate our world. Amid modern science, occult wisdom, metaphysics, and mythology, what do we really know about consciousness? What do we really know about ourselves? Anthrotheology is an empowering and thought provoking book that will change the way you look at the world, and yourself.

It isn?TMt often that you find such an original and thought-provoking book. I couldn?TMt put it down. It is very well-written, there are a lot of complex subjects, but the author is good at explaining things to make them understandable without sounding condescending. At first, Dr. Lynn discusses

personal experiences which led to her research, and eventually this book. It goes on to look at different theories on consciousness, some of which I had never heard so they were very interesting, especially the part about bicameralism. As the book progresses, it gets into different mythologies and symbols from around the world and how they relate to inner struggles of duality (good versus evil, light versus darkness, etc.). It also goes into occult history, origin of consciousness, Gnostic texts, and serpent symbolism. All of it basically has to do with the ideas of power-struggles, duality, oneness, and spiritual ascension. Aside from the very original and interesting theories, the best part about the book is that it has a lot of unique archaeological discoveries in it, as well as pictures. There aren?TMt the same old Stonehenge-type sites, they were ones I hadn?TMt heard of. There is also a fascinating part about a tribe of people that have no god, no myths, no history, and no art.I will not give away any spoilers, but I will say that the book takes a turn after building a case for itself and ends up being very inspiring and motivational. It isn?TMt your typical empowerment book, nor is it your typical history book. It is based in history, literary analysis, and science, in addition to the personal experiences of the author, which after reading, I came to respect and admire. If you are feeling trapped in the doldrums of everyday life and want to understand the meaning and origin of consciousness then you must read Anthrotheology!

Enjoyed reading this book, and it validates something I have felt to be true.I believe that all of us have the potential to live our lives to the fullest extent possible by seeing through the lies of so called power elite.

Dr. Heather Lynn addresses the problem of consciousness with great research using science and anthropology to develop this complex subject. One thing I love about Dr. Heather Lynn writing is that she doesn't embellish the findings to make it interesting, she cares more for the truth behind discoveries. Interesting read, and interesting writing style.

I think Dr. Lynn and I come from different directions, but we are both in search of the truth. Her bio provided an excellent benchmark to track her reasoning and conclusions. I think this book presents original thoughts and ideas, and I look forward to additional writings by Dr. Lynn.

Anthrotheology, love the title. Fascinating book. Took psychology and I was fascinated about that part of the brain which connects both halves of the brain (wink). We must have similar ideas but I love Heather Lynn's approach and how she articulates her points.

Enjoyed reading this book, which struck me as an introduction to mind-altering ideas which should induce further investigation. Loads of references to other scholarly works past and present. Ordered the "Kindle" version of the text, which for some reason seemed to be quite often unreadable due to misspellings, bad grammar, and just plain missing text, and hope this is not indicative of the original. Dr. Lynn's basic message that ..."You are free to be the creator of your own destiny" should resonate with all who are seeking SOME kind of good news in today's increasingly fractured and fractious world. I see her idea of "Anthrotheology" as possibly the spiritual underpinnings for a new awakening in all other aspects of human life - hopefully leading society to embrace a more libertarian view of the political and economic fields of endeavor. Actually looking forward to this author's newest tome, which is supposedly due out late this year (2016) entitled: "The Annunaki Compendium". Would love to sit one-on-one with Dr. Lynn - without a doubt sure to be a fascinating conversation.

I have heard of many of these theories but never so concisely gathered and discussed in one place. I found it very interesting however, I think that perhaps the very subject matter discussed leads to the feeling of the author's biased opinion rather than science. Still, a good try at a difficult subject. I give it a good solid four stars.

This is a review of the Dr. Heather Lynn book "Anthrotheology: Search For God In Man". The book arrived after being on order for a week or so. It was packaged well and was in mint condition when I removed it from its shipping package. The subject matter of the book and Dr. Lynn's discussions on just where our active minds and spiritual views of all Creation may have actually originated. It is a truly thought provoking work on all of humankinds aspirations to understand our world, of fellow human beings and "The One" who actually has given existence to all that we see and know (and even that which remains hidden from human observation).
