Gb634 Executive Seminar Syllabus

March 23-27, 2015

Description

In the 1950’s, 60’s, and 70’s, Saint Peter’s College was an amazing community led by Jesuits who helped mold character. The School was the first-choice solution for young men who wanted success.

That tradition lives today, albeit with females comprising 50 percent of the student body, as alumni from that period share their lives and experiences. Twice a year, the MBA program sponsors Executives in Residence Week. Alumni selected by the Development Office return to a classroom in the new Student Center and challenge MBA candidates to follow their dreams, achieve their goals, and thrive in their personal and professional lives.

The format is simple. The candidates research public information on the executives who arrive with no prepared presentation or agenda. For three hours, the executives respond to questions on their values, experiences, and beliefs. Amazing stories are shared.

Structure

What? A one-week program bringing senior executives to campus to share ideas on managing risk and careers.

When? Fall and Spring trimesters.

Who? Senior executives from major corporations and successful entrepreneurs interact with MBA candidates and invited guests

Where? Saint Peter’s University and off-site locations
