1st Grading Period (Addition Timed Tests)

Attached is a set of Addition Facts Practice Timed Tests & answer keys. Please use these to practice your Addition Math Facts at home during the 1st Grading Period. To access more practice timed tests or to print

additional copies of the attached tests, go to math-.

Timed tests will be given on Thursdays each week. The students will be given 4 mins to complete 100 problems on the Addition Timed Tests, with hopes to move to completing them within 3 mins by the end of the grading period. One test grade will be created in RenWeb labeled "Addition Timed Test" under the Tests category. I will update this grade each week with the student's higher grade as they improve on their timed tests. For example, a student could make an F on their test one week and make a C on the next test, which would replace the F. Then they might make an A on the next test, which would replace the C and leave them with an A.

I understand that this testing can be frustrating for students, but they can do it. It is extremely important for the students to master all of their basic Math facts, as they need know them in order to do our more involved 4th grade Math concepts well. So I'm asking for your help in drilling them on facts at home and also in giving practice timed tests at home.
