TOK Mini-Presentation (5 minutes)

[Pages:1]TOK Mini-Presentation (5 minutes)

In order to help us prepare for the upcoming TOK Presentation, we will be doing a shorter version of it that will help us practice the basic skills necessary for success. This will look similar to the journals we did last year. Below is a way to visualize what you are expected to do in a TOK Presentation. For a 5 minute presentation, you cannot connect to other RLS so don't try to but you should be able to: 1. Briefly describe and discuss a RLS 2. Raise a knowledge question 3. Discuss and attempt to answer that knowledge question 4. Go back to your RLS and talk about it in light of the discussion about your KQ 5. Consider multiple perspectives on the question 6. Discuss the significance or implications of your thoughts and conclusions

Due: Some of us will present to the whole class and some of us will present just to smaller groups in the classroom. You will not need any slides or visual aids. Focus instead on your words and presentation skills. You will submit the text of what you present. If you want ideas on specific topics, you can find some ideas at:
