8th Grade American War for Independence Timeline Assignment

You will be given one piece of large paper. You are to create a timeline of the American War for Independence period. You may be as creative and colorful with this timeline as you wish as long as you meet all of the following requirements.

1. The timeline descriptions and significance of the people and events must be written by you, no plagiarizing, no copying and pasting! It will be a zero and a detention if you do.

2. You must incorporate the large piece of paper given to you somehow. You can use the front and the back of the white paper but you must make it colorful and neat!

3. The timeline must have some color on it. You must make an effort to make it visually appealing. There must be a PICTURE OR DRAWING FOR EVERY EVENT AND PERSON!!!!

4. The timeline must be in chronological order.

5. The time line must have at least 12 events ranging from 1750-1790. Include a picture.

- It is up to you to choose the events that go on your timeline. You must pick events that you find are most important to the war and to US history. The events must relate to this topic.
