NURSERY 1: Welcome to our new friend Joseph!

Zechariah loves to roll over and play on his tummy. Dylan is rolling all over and is getting ready to crawl anytime. Ariana, Sophia and Owen are all crawling and starting to pull up on things. Please make sure your child has a sweatshirt/ jacket and socks every day because we will continue to go outside for walks and to play in the grass. Keep an eye out for some new fall art footprints, scarecrows, corn, leaves and pumpkins. We will also be creating more fall color free art.

This October we will be exploring our feelings with books, songs and artwork. We will also be enjoying the outdoors for as long as the weather cooperates, so please be sure your child has shoes and warm clothing. Toddler 1: Colors: colors, everywhere! Autumn is here and the trees are changing. All month we will watch the leaves change and learn about the yummy foods that we pick this time of the year! We will also get our hands dirty as we carve a pumpkin to see what’s inside! We will even enjoy new fall songs and games.

Miss Jenny

Toddler 2: Apple, peaches, pumpkin pie all my toddlers reach up high. During the month of October we will be focusing on Harvest colors. Miss Lindsey & I will be taking our class on a few nature walks throughout the month to show the children how the colors and temperatures outside change. We will have a few hands on cooking activities where we will make spooky treats ( popcorn in a plastic glove) to look like ghosts & white chocolate dipped bananas to look like pumpkins.. yummy!! Toddler two will also be making collages on contact paper using fall objects from outside to decorate our room. We are looking forward to our October activities and getting to know more about what interests our toddlers. Also if any of our parents have suggestions for future activities, please feel free to share w/ Miss Amanda! Thanks
