INSTALLATION - WINDOWS
Install in accordance with manufacturer's instructions approved submittals and in proper relationship with adjacent construction.
Attach window frame and shims to perimeter blocking at openings to accommodate construction tolerances and other irregularities. Maintain integrity of air barriers and vapor retarder sheets.
Align windows plumb and level, free of warp or twist.
Adjust vents to close snugly and put in smooth operating order.

Set door frames plumb, square, level, and aligned to receive doors. Anchor frames to adjacent construction in strict accordance with manufacturer's recommendations.
Where aluminum surfaces contact alkaline substrates such as concrete or mortar, and metals other than stainless steel or zinc, protect from direct contact by painting reactive substrate and dissimilar metals with a heavy coating of bituminous paint in the field.
Hang doors and adjust hardware to achieve specified clearances and proper door operation.
CLEANING AND PROTECTION
Clean products in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.
Touch-up, repair or replace damaged products before Substantial Completion.
