The Allocations Subcommittee interprets programming requests to determine fundability based on adherence to the “fundable program” definition. A number of factors influence this interpretation, including program name, advertised constituency, marketing plan, format, purpose, differentiation from regular operation of organization

• Program Name – Does the name imply an exclusive program? Would a non-member feel like this program was open for him or her to attend?

• Marketing Plan – is the program being marketed broadly?

• Timing – is the program concurrent with an organizational meeting?

The following table provides a guide to common programs and whether they are fundable. Any program listed as “possibly fundable” must still satisfy all the requirements of fundable program. All programmatic fundability is ultimately determined by the Allocations Subcommittee.
