Vocabulary- taking a word for a walk- start at the top of the page and all write the same word. Make a snake chain out of words all around an A3 page, starting with this word and writing the next word you think of after each word. Write a story connecting all of your words together comparing the resulting stories

1. Game
Apples to apples/Pictionary
Play location game…give each group a few things and give them a list which instructs them to place different objects in different places in relation to their desk and chair. Such as, the pencil is next to the chair, the pen is on the desk. The book is on the floor. The paper is in the desk. Etc.
2. Listening
Have students write down what they hear. Afterwards keep a tally of how many words each team got, and give 3 points to winner.
