Many students are having difficulty because they are not going to this site.-266700172148500Laptop Instructions To sign onto the district provided laptop the student would put reid for both the user name and password. The computer will have to be connected to the wifi the first time it is used in a new place. On the home screen of the computer there are three icons. Google Chrome, Zoom and the recycle bin. The MISD has loaded firewalls that prohibit access to several sites. To get to Schoology students will then double click on Chrome and use the link -33528037846000Schoology LoginStudents will type in their school email (stfirstintiallastname@student.) and then they will be directed to a page to put in their password (CaptialFirstinitiallastnamebirthdate)An example of both email and password for Donna Smith who was born June 9, 2003 would be:stdsmith@student.Ds06092003-20828024638000Your classes on Schoology:After students sign on to their accounts, they will be able to go to their scheduled classes by clicking on courses at the top of the screen. Once this happens students will then click on the course they want and it will open. There they will find their weekly lessons, assignments, and materials in one folder. When a student clicks on his/her course folder he/she will see three folders: Lesson Plans, Assignments, and Materials. By going through these three folders students will have everything they need for the week to learn and complete assignments. Schedule for the November 20th through December 9th Pause:Friday – 11/20/20 Transition DayStudents are at home, setting up for virtual meetings going forward. Students should:Find a space in their house that they can dedicate to school work.Keep themselves/their area free from distractions.Consider their surroundings, and don’t put themselves near anything that can distract you.At 8:00 a.m., join 5th Hour Class on Schoology.
