3. Enter the appropriate basic information, then click Advanced.

4. Click the Guarantees tab.

5. The Protect this Guaranteed Annuity from Cash Flow Liquidation link at the top of the page navigates to the Liquidation Strategy in order to exclude assets form liquidation. This is so the system will not make any withdrawals from the annuity and thereby negatively affect the guaranteed income.

6. Define either a Withdrawal Only, Income Only, or Both.

7. Choose Rider Definitions or Future Base Value to apply at the time of first withdrawal.

8. Use Guaranteed Base Values to enter the value, total contributions made (minus any withdrawals), guaranteed rate of return (minus any withdrawals), high water mark, and the better of guaranteed return of high water mark in any given year. When finished entering data, click Save.

9. To add a Transfer flow, click Facts and choose Savings & Contributions. Next, click Add and select the annuity account name from the drop down menu.

10. From the next screen, click Advanced.

11. Add a Transfer and choose Yes in the Guaranteed Annuity Withdrawal dropdown field. This will trigger the Transfer flow to use the parameters set in the annuity in order to determine the amount that pays out to the client. Make sure the source is the annuity and the destination is the core cash account. Lastly, click Save.
