Issue 2 is feature packed with 'Heavy Horsepower' models. The special feature is the incredible 'Hand Built' supercharged Holden Monaro Pro Stocker. The 1934 #2D Pierson Brother Coupe, 1962 Greer Machinery Special #33 Dragster and 1962 Connie Kalitta Bounty Hunter Dragster are GMP models that abound in detail. The first release from Precision Miniatures is an outstanding 1969 AA/FA T-Bucket Dragster known as the 'Winged Express'. Australian collectors will love the feature on Biante's entire Dick Johnson Collection. For something different, ther are three pages with a number of very creative diorama projects.  Both the winning 1965 Lotus Type 38 and winning 1975 Eagle from the Indianapolis 500 have been produced by Carousel 1 and both to keep the classic Indy fans happy. Issue 11, is one of the best issues to date for 1:18 Diecast Downunder. Featuring a very special article on customised models. This is sure to blow some minds, just on detail alone. Along with other articles, on Biante’s FX Holdens, Exoto’s Tyrrell Ford 003, including some GMP in 1:18 and 1:12 scale, as well as a BF 109E plane by Carousel 1. Also a Lansdowne Sunbeam Talbot Ten model, amongst many others Shop Talk” is brilliant in focusing on more upcoming releases and also some of the latest releases from Biante, Carousel 1, Classic Carlectables, CMC, GMP, Hot Wheels, Minichamps, RC2, Trax and a lot more. The “Readers Page” talks about the Brisbane Model Diecast Collectors Club’s swap meet and display day of which attracted some interstate visitors.

Overall, this issue of 1:18 Diecast Downunder is the best yet with comprehensive articles and information in “Shop Talk”, will still be current until the next issue.

The 12th issue of 1:18 Diecast Downunder features the long awaited Biante, Allan Moffat Collection. There are also feature articles on other models including Exoto, Gmp, Franklin Mint and the iconic “Little Grey Fergie” from Universal Hobbies. These articles amongst many others are featured in the 12th issue of 1:18 Diecast Downunder. Issue 12 of 1:18 Diecast Downunder also lists a guide to the future releases proposed by Classic Carlectables for their V8 Supercar range as a lead up to Bathurst. Welcome to the first issue of The Diecast Magazine. With a new title comes a new beginning and issue 1 highlights this with the inclusion of a variety of scales including 1:64 and 1:76 in “Shop Talk”. This is a sign of some of the variety in scaled diecast you can expect to read about in future issues.

In this issue we pay tribute to Peter Brock with an update to The Peter Brock Collection. This article incorporates the models that featured in The Peter Brock Collection in Issue 4 of 1:18 Diecast Downunder, along with an update of the collection of models that have been released since then.
