The decurrent false aster (Boltonia decurrens) was listed as a threatened species by the Service on November 14, 1988 (53 FR 45861). It is a floodplain species that occurs along a 250 miles section of the lower Illinois River and nearby parts of the UMR (Schwegman and Nyboer 1985, USFWS 1990). ................
