Teacher will give worksheet called Hogan Worksheet.Day 2:Teacher will introduce and review the vocabulary words and use the pictures from the day before and explain how the new words are related to hogan words.Day 3: Teacher will review words with students and give final worksheet called, Dine’ Hogan worksheet, where students will write, say the correct Hogan terms used to describe the hogan. Students will also see the teacher model comparing the hogans.Day 4: ReviewDevelopment:Students will Compare and contrast a traditional and modern Hogan.Practice:Day 1: Students will orally say the vocabulary words listed by looking at pictures and Compare and contrast a traditional and modern Hogan. Day 2: Students will review their hogan worksheets from the day before and Compare and contrast a traditional and modern Hogan. Day 3: Students will get new worksheet called Dine wedding worksheet. Students will Compare and contrast a traditional and modern Hogan.They will share new words learned during pair share.Day 4: Students will practice saying vocabulary words for correct verbal enunciation and comparing its attributes.Day 5: On the 5th day students will take the oral summative assessment.Checking for Understanding:Students will take an oral summative assessment. They will Identify the appropriate place and time where a Diné traditional wedding occurs. Closure:Each day, students will review the objective and review the vocabulary words. They will also present their worksheets to the teacher for clarity. On the 5th day students will take a grade Hogan assessment. ................
