The course focuses on developing the students’ ability to reinforce learned Math concepts as well as to practice and learn new Math concepts on their grade level with the end in mind. Our mission is to cultivate an engaging environment where all are committed to lifelong learning, leadership, and excellence. The educational purpose of the Interactive Math book is to assist students in building study strategies through recording information, data, and activities related to each lesson. The educational purpose of the Math Notebook is to improve the student’s ability to organize ideas and information while taking notes, and to learn to reference the notes as students progress throughout their 6th grade year.Interactive Math book Requirements:Students need a one-subject, 100-page, composition notebook. Do not rip out any pages; you will need all of them. Student’s name and class period needs to be written legibly on the front cover. Notebooks will stay in Mrs. Jarman’s classroom at all times.Notebooks must be organized according to teacher instruction.Interactive Math Notebook Requirements:Students need a one-subject, Spiral notebook. Do not rip out any pages; you will need all of them. Student’s name and class period needs to be written legibly on the front cover. Math Notebooks are tools needed for home work daily. Students are expected to use as a reference when doing homework practice.
