Deep cycle batteries shouldn’t be discharged more than 50% of total amp hour capacity. When charging a battery to its full capacity, the last 15% of the charging is very inefficient. Therefore it is recommended that a battery bank be discharged to 50% of its capacity and then recharged to 85% of its capacity. ................
