It can be a brief game, SMARTBoard activity, interactive website, foldable, or a paired activity. Assume no one in the class has read the story, no one is familiar with the terms related to the story, and no one is particularly interested in the story or the terms If you don’t show any interest or enthusiasm, no one else will. PowerPoint/Prezi/Google/Slide Rocket presentations must be a minimum of 15 slides plus a works cited slide. Slides should primarily contain images, charts, and graphics. Text should be kept to a minimum and listed in bullet point format. Be sure to use fonts that are easily readable and contrast font colors and background colors (e.g. light text on dark background or dark text on light background). DO NOT READ THE TEXT VERBATIM. DO NOT COPY AND PASTE TEXT ONTO SLIDES. You may embed video clips from YouTube or other sources onto slides as long as they are two minutes or less. Voicethread/Photostory/Windows Moviemaker presentations must also be a minimum of 15 screens plus a works cited screen. Slide should primarily contain images, charts, and graphics. Follow the same general guidelines as PowerPoint.Make sure the technology works before the day you present!
