You are wonderful pupils and as I said all year, you work very hard and are such independent learners. You were brilliant!I want to say well done to you for the work you have done since the school closed. You should be very proud of yourselves.Keep up your independent reading and now is the perfect time to keep practising your tables. These are very important.Keep up Mental Maths as this is the best way to constantly revise all of your Maths. These do not need to be printed, you can just look at them for guidance.Over the next 3 weeks I would like to read the example of a Debate which is on the school website under this week’s work. It is called The Great Mobile Phone Debate. Look at the layout and the strategies the writer has used. The title is a question, they have used facts to prove their opinion is correct. I also want you to look at the examples of sentence starters and concluding phrases. These are also on the school website under this week’s work.I want you then to think about this topic: ‘Physical Activity should be part of homework’– decide if you are for or against this and begin to plan you debate using a similar layout to the example that you read.
