MINI PROJECT

FIRST: First rank the 8 ROLES of the president in order of what you think is most important.

SECOND: Use the internet ( or Hempfield Destiny (database) to find images of various presidents fulfilling the 8 roles. Look for pictures that stand out and are easy to tell which role the president if fulfilling.

? Make sure to keep track of each URL for citations (may only be White House or database) ? No Google Search images (include page of numbered images and URLs

THIRD: For every image that you find you will write a.) explain the picture and what role the president is doing b.) explain how you know the picture is that role c.) explain why you ranked it where you did

FOURTH: Assemble your project. You can create a book, a power point, a poster or a pamphlet. Just remember that each role should have the following:

a.) the rank and in order b.) an image of that role c.) explain the picture and what role the president is doing d.) explain how you know the picture is that role e.) explain why you ranked it where you did

Each role is going to be worth 10 points (80 points total).

Creativity & assembling of the project worth 10 points.

Spelling, grammar, punctuation worth 10 points.

While this project is worth a total of 100 points, don't get hung up on that. Focus on the small portion (each individual role).

This image shows President Barrack Obama fulfilling his role as Commander-in-Chief. The president's role as commanderin-Chief puts him in charge of our military and our armed forces in times of war and in times of peace. He is able to move troops around the world or take care of weapons.

I know that this image is showing his role of commander-inchief, because he is talking with an army leader and there are other soldiers behind him.
