US History Children’s BookObjective: Students will use their knowledge of 8th grade history to create a children’s book. Directions: Students will use their Binder to create a book that a 1st to 2nd grader could understand. You will choose 1 unit to focus on in your book; Colonial, American Revolution, Constitution, New Republic, Westward Expansion, or Civil War. The requirements for each unit are on the back of this paper. The requirements are in list form. You will add the details of importance of each unit. To make sure your book flows and isn’t just listed facts you should create a character to focus on. That character will be learning about US history with the reader!
