SPEECH BY CEO, AT THE YEAR-END PARTY AT xxx.
Good morning, ladies and gentlemen.
It is only xx more days before we say good-bye to the year xxxx.
When it comes to the end of another year, we sometimes reflect on what has happened for that year. Sometimes, we even make resolutions for the new year, which we seldom keep!
For myself, this year has been an eventful one for me. I joined about as your CEO, and saw that we have a very experienced and dedicated team in place. There is certainly potential for the company to grow even further.
Since coming on board, I have fine-tuned the company to be more marketing and customer-centric, so as to grow the business. There are many challenges as well as good opportunities that lay ahead of us. With your combined efforts, I am sure we can overcome these challenges, take advantage of the opportunities and reach our goals.
This year, we have developed our new set of corporate values xxx. Although you may take time getting used to it, I want every staff to share these values and display them towards your fellow-colleagues. For example, I want staff to show a sense of teamwork and openness. If there are any problems, always feel free to air them openly and discuss solutions freely.
The government has forecasted next year’s economic growth to be about xxx%. So I foresee demand for is also likely to go up by the same amount. Business prospects generally is gradually picking up, with demand for likely to come from xxx customers.
So next year will be a better year for us. I am confident about it. I seek your assistance, so that we can grow the business together.
