Teacher’s Certification Loan Program

Payments for classes must be made by deadlines. In order to help facilitate your continuation in the Teacher Certification Program, A+ FCU works with you to help pay fees by direct deposit from your account. We have brochures in our office. Please go by these steps:

1. Open a checking and savings account with A+.  Once you get your teaching contract, your paycheck will be direct-deposited into that account. You can apply for your checking and savings account with driver's license and social security card. 

Bring a minimum of $65 check or cash to open accounts.  $50 opens a basic checking account, $10 opens a savings account, and $5 is a non-refundable fee

2. You must have a teaching contract by the second dispersal date (the payment due at the end of July).  Disbursements are made to ACC only as money is due to keep accumulated interest lower.

3. Provide proof of eligibility in the Teacher Certification Program by submitting a copy of your acceptance letter when you sign up for the loan.

4. The current interest rate is still 9.9% and the length of the loan is 12 months.
