Dear Kindergarten Lunch Bunch,

Dear Kindergarten Lunch Bunch,

I have a problem and I hope you can help me solve it. At recess, Sally and I like to play together. Yesterday, she wanted to swing on the swings and I wanted to play tag. We kept arguing and then my teacher blew the whistle and we had to line up. I'm mad because I didn't get to play anything. Sally is mad too. What should I do? Thanks for your help!

Sincerely,

Tamara

Dear First Grade Lunch Bunch,

I have a problem. Mrs. Cardenas told me y'all were excellent problem solvers so I hope you can help me! In class during work time, my friend Patrick and I were talking about Sponge Bob. Our teacher gave us a warning and told us to get back to work. Then, Patrick whispered something else to me and it was so funny that I started laughing loudly. My teacher got mad and moved both of our clips. Now I'm upset because I have to sit out at recess. What should I do?

Thank you,

Alan

Dear Second Grade Lunch Bunch,

I have a problem and I hope you can help me solve it. There is a boy in my class who is shy. He seems nervous and sad at school. At recess, I saw another kid making fun of him for not having friends and calling him names. I want to help the new kid but I don't know what to do. Please help!

Sincerely,

Eric

Dear Third Grade Lunch Bunch,

I have a problem and I hope you can help me solve it. At lunch and recess one of my friends keeps talking to me about things that are not appropriate to talk about at school. I asked him to stop and he won't stop doing it. It's making me feel uncomfortable and I don’t want to get in trouble for talking about things I know I am not supposed to talk about. I don't know what to do. Please help!

Sincerely,

Taylor

Dear Fourth Grade Lunch Bunch,

I hope you can help me with my problem that I'm having. I really like talking with my friends. Sometimes I talk to them during class when I'm supposed to be working. Also, sometimes I just get distracted and start thinking about other things in school instead of listening to the teacher. Then I get behind on my work and I rush so I can get finished and I make careless mistakes. My grades have gotten lower and I'm worried about my report card. What should I do?

Sincerely,

Greg

Dear Fifth Grade Lunch Bunch,

Mrs. Cardenas was telling me about how you guys know a lot about bullying. She told me Boone is a “No Place For Hate”. I think I'm getting bullied. This girl always gives me mean looks at school and calls me names. Yesterday she sent me an email calling me names and telling me I have no friends. It makes me feel really sad and lonely. I am worried that if I tell someone she's going to start being even more mean to me. What should I do?

Sincerely,

Margaret
