Armor Coat? Limited 20-Year Warranty

Armor Coat? trim & fascia products are hand sorted, primed with a premium 100% acrylic primer, cured, and packaged in an optimized and controlled process to guarantee quality.

Belco Forest Products, Inc. warrants that Armor Coat? trim & fascia products will be free from manufacturing defects causing rotting, excessive swelling, blistering, peeling, cracking, or chalking, under normal conditions of use and exposure, for a period of 20 years from the date of installation, provided that the products are stored, installed, painted, and maintained in accordance with Belco Forest Products, Inc.'s Installation and Handling Instructions.

Belco Forest Products, Inc. also warrants that Armor Coat? will be free from mold and mildew for a period of six months, starting on the date of purchase from the manufacturer, presuming storage and handling has been followed in agreement with the Installation and Handling Instructions by both the seller and buyer.

This limited warranty is transferable, but only by the original property owner to the first subsequent property owner.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY:

This limited warranty does not cover: (1) colorfastness; (2) damage from physical forces such as impact, abrasion, abuse; (3) damage from prolonged contact with water due to failure to maintain caulking, finish coatings, or other improper installations or construction; (4) performance of field applied finishes; (5) mold and mildew after six months; (6) uses other than non-structural trim & fascia applications; (7) damage resulting in whole or in part from a failure to strictly comply with Belco Forest Products, Inc.'s Installation and Handling Instructions.

BELCO FOREST PRODUCTS, INC.'S SOLE OBLIGATION UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL BE TO PROVIDE REASONABLE ASSISTANCE FOR THE REPAIR OF THE PRODUCT OR, AT ITS DISCRETION, REFUND OF THE AMOUNT OF THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID FOR THE PRODUCT. BELCO FOREST PRODUCTS, INC.'S LIABILITY WHETHER IN CONTRACT, IN TORT, UNDER ANY WARRANTY, IN NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE SHALL NOT EXCEED RETURN OF THE AMOUNT OF THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID FOR THE PRODUCT. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL BELCO FOREST PRODUCTS, INC. BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. THE PRICE STATED FOR THE PRODUCT IS A CONSIDERATION IN LIMITING BELCO FOREST PRODUCTS, INC.'S LIABILITY.

NOTICE OF CLAIMS:

All claims must be submitted in writing to the installer who must be afforded a reasonable opportunity to take corrective actions or to notify responsible parties. If a claim is not resolved within 30 days after notice to the installer, written notice must be given within the warranty period to Belco Forest Products, Inc.
