Performs the functions and duties of a Teller, MSO or Branch MSO, when needed. Cross-sells CU products and services to members and continually strives to exceed member expectations through high quality service at the branch. Promotes teamwork and conveys a willingness to assist and cooperate with others for the benefit of the organization. Follows policy and procedures as outlined by management. May lift daily work boxes and coin bags up to approximately 50 lbs, when necessary. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE: Requires knowledge of one specialized field of work or general knowledge of two or more management functions or entry level management duties. 4-5 years of related experience normally necessary. PERCENTOF TIMEMajor Duties and Responsibilities:45% Manages the work flow of the branch office and its personnel with daily staff scheduling for optimal coverage and low overtime. Responsible for review of monthly reports for discussion with manager and/or staff. Oversees training needs of employees, audits of staff work, and performs annual job performance reviews for branch operations staff. Responsible for balancing ATM functions on a daily basis. Responsible for reasonable vault cash limits, teller drawer audits, and the overall balancing of each. Handles complex outages/problems, as well as staff issues or concerns. Responsible for oral and written write-up’s for staff when appropriate and approved by the vice-president. Research, analyze, and act on all member concerns and complaints, as well as requests for fee refunds within guidelines and limits. Responsible for opening and closing of the branch, branch security, supply needs, and facility issues on a daily basis. Keeps vice-president informed of unusual, complex or volatile situations. 40% Perform the duties of a Teller, MSO or Branch MSO as needed. 10%Propose budget needs for the branch. Recommend changes to improve the department’s operating methods and procedures, as well as identifying ways to reduce costs.5% Performs other related duties as assigned.
