Profile

The daughter of a Scottish mother and a Greek father, I grew up bilingual in English and Greek. Having studied French and Italian, I started translating in 1997 and built on my practical knowledge with an MSc in Translation Studies. I translate from all my working languages into my two native languages, specialising in medical, technical, scientific, legal and banking translation. I provide scientific translations for various Universities and leading publications, including Nature and The Lancet. An expert user of CAT tools, I have translated more than 25,000,000 words so far, including over 30 books.

I am a professional conference interpreter (1300 hours so far).

As manager of Rhyme & Reason Translation and Interpretation SVC, I work with private clients, companies, local administration authorities, newspapers and universities, providing translation, post-editing, proofreading and interpretation services in various languages, to global clients.
