24th Neuro-Tumor Club MeetingTime: Monday April 1st, 2019: 5:00 pm–9:30 pmLocation: Emory University School of Medicine Building100 Woodruff Circle, Atlanta, GA 30322Meeting Organizers: Hui-Kuo Shu, Dolores Hambardzumyan, Renee Read, Erwin Van Meir, Hyunsuk Shim, and Walter CurranCALL FOR ABSTRACTSSUBMISSION DEADLINE: MONDAY, MARCH 4th, 2019The 24th Neuro-Tumor Club Meeting will take place during the upcoming AACR Annual Meeting in Atlanta, GA. The meeting, conducted in association with The Society for Neuro-Oncology, will occur from 5:00 to 9:30 pm, Monday, April 1st, in the School of Medicine Building at Emory University. The Emory campus is located six miles to the north of the AACR meeting venue, Georgia World Congress Center. A shuttle service will be provided from the Convention Center to Emory. As in past years, this event will be an informal and stimulating exchange of current findings of specific and focused interest to investigators dedicated to brain tumor research. Meeting registration is free, and drinks & food will be provided, at no cost to meeting registrants, during a social hour from 5:00-6:00 pm, with presentations to follow from 6:00-9:30 pm. Meeting costs will be supported by the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. Format:As has been the case for past Neuro-Tumor Club meetings, presentations will focus on themes of critical importance to Neuro-Oncology. Each presenting author will have a total of 10 mins for each presentation. Authors of submitted abstracts that are not selected for oral presentation will have the opportunity to display and discuss their research during a poster session conducted as part of the 5:00-6:00 pm social hour.
