This study will undertake an in-depth assessment of premorbid urogenital symptoms among young adult women with and without vulvodynia, using qualitative and semi-structured interviews in order to challenge this conceptualization, and to elucidate whether a relationship exists between early symptoms and the subsequent diagnosis of vulvodynia.
